Buyer Protection

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about payment, delivery, authenticity, disputes, and your rights when buying through ChronoBid.

Payment

Who receives and holds the buyer’s payment?

Cleared funds are paid to ChronoBid’s nominated settlement account or payment provider as shown on your invoice. ChronoBid does not describe a third-party escrow model unless that arrangement is confirmed for your sale.

When is the seller paid?

Consignment proceeds are released after the buyer’s payment clears and the lot is ready for collection or shipping, subject to the written consignment terms.

Is payment held until delivery?

Settlement timing follows the invoice and consignment terms for that lot. Funds are not described as escrow-held until delivery unless ChronoBid confirms that arrangement in writing.
