They apply to anyone browsing the site, applying for membership, consigning through the house, or bidding on a piece. Staff act for the house when they run sales and write the catalogue.

You must give accurate details when you request access or create an account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. The house can accept, refuse, suspend, or remove access at its discretion, including mid-sale when needed to stop abuse.

Keep your login private. Tell us promptly if you think someone else used your account. You are responsible for bids placed while you are signed in.

Each bid is an offer to buy the piece at that amount. Once placed, a bid cannot be lowered or pulled back. Your next bid must meet the published increment above the current high.

Pieces use a soft close. If a bid lands near the listed end, the clock can extend. The house settles disputes about who bid first or whether a bid stands. That decision is final for the sale.

Estimates on a piece are guidance, not a promise of what it will hammer for. Descriptions, photographs, and condition notes are the house's opinion based on what we inspected and were given.

Read the piece page before you bid. Ask on the Contact page if something is unclear. Do not treat a blank field as proof that a watch is perfect.

Pre-owned watches may have been serviced, repaired, or fitted with replacement parts over their life. Working order, originality of components, and service history are only as stated on the piece. If the piece is silent on a point, treat that as unknown.

Papers and boxes are included only when the catalogue says so. A general service, battery change, or further workshop work after purchase is on the buyer unless the piece says otherwise.

When you win a piece and the house accepts the sale, you have a binding purchase.

Chrono Bid arranges settlement, shipping, and any house charges with you outside self-serve checkout on this site.

Title passes when payment clears on the terms the house confirms with you.

Risk passes on delivery unless we agree something different in writing.

You can ask us to close your account once any open obligations are settled. We may keep records needed to run past sales or meet legal duties.

We may update these terms on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the current version. Check this page when you bid.
