Bidding increments and closing time
Increments keep the book orderly. Closing times are fixed, so place your bid before the countdown ends.
Quick answer
You cannot bid below the next minimum shown on the lot. The closing time does not move when someone bids late.
Increments
Each lot publishes a bid step. The next offer must clear current highest bid plus that step.
If someone else bids first, the next minimum rises. Refresh the lot or watch your My Bids status for Leading or Outbid.
Fixed closing time
ChronoBid lots close at the published end time. Bids do not extend the clock.
Watch the countdown and bid early enough that a last-second network delay cannot leave you short.
House rules
Auction Rules summarises increments, reserves, and status labels. Terms and Conditions bind registered bidders.
Staff can see bidder identity. Public collectors see amounts, not names.
